Meet Our Pastor

Dr. Eugene Hudson was born August 24, 1945 in Swainsboro, Georgia and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.  Dr Hudson found Christ early in life and joined the Stewart Memorial Methodist Church.  He completed high school and went on to Volusia County Junior College.  After a tour of military duty, he moved to Brooklyn, New York.  Dr. Hudson secured a position in the financial district and continued his education at the New York Institute of Finance and Kingsborough College.  

On January 17, 2005 Dr. Hudson received a Proclamation from the borough of New York City for outstanding community service which was presented by council-member Miguel Martinez.  On September 11, 2005, Dr. Hudson received his Chaplain degree from Empire International Chaplains Association.   

On March 13, 2006, Dr. Hudson received special recognition from the state assembly which was presented by Assemblyman Espaillat for his continued dedication and outstanding services to the community.

Dr. Eugene Hudson has served as a pastor since 1978, starting his service as Pastor of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in New York City.  Dr. Hudson became the full-time pastor of Mt. Bethel Baptist Institutional Church in June 2016.
